NZ Sire Yamanin Vital Dies Aged 19

In New Zealand, the south island's Otago-based White Robe Lodge stallion Yamanin Vital (Sir Tristram-She Might Hula, by Caucasus) died aged 19 "due to bowel complications" reported NZ Thoroughbred Marketing.  Yamanin Vital has produced 98 winners from 171 horses to race (57.3% winners-to-runners) including Gr1-winners Cluden Creek & Cut The Cake, plus stakes-winners Trebla, Requisite, Relampago, Heureka, Son Of The Oak & Rosa Marada. On the track himself, Yamanin Vital won 5 races from 15 starts in Japan.
