In Macau, 10 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 4YO gelding Macau Eagle (Zeditave-So Amorous, by Generous) won over 1300m for Australian trainer Geoff Allendorf. Macau Eagle was an $80,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 4YO gelding Good Control (Fasliyev-Change Of Control, by Marauding) won over 1050m for trainer Pat Lee. Good Control was a $25,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Winter Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Golden Star (Statue Of Liberty-Anley, by Snaadee) won over 1050m for trainer Pat Lee. Golden Star was a $2,500 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Bianco Luci (Black Hawk-Belle Uno, by Delgado) won over 1300m for trainers Y.T.Lam & H.Y.Cheng.
  • 9YO gelding Crown's Express (Brocco-Art Jewel, by Noble Bijou) won over 1700m for trainer J.Lau.
  • 10YO gelding Lucky Knight (Danehill-Scarlet Jewel, by Is It True) won over 1500m for trainers A.Ngai & Y.C.Chan. Lucky Knight was passed-in as a yearling for $250,000 at the 2001 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 3YO gelding Happy General (Canny Lad-Winged Hope, by Personal Hope) won over 1200m for expatriate Australian trainer Gary Moore. Happy General was a $55,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
  • 10YO gelding Blue Canyon (Belong To Me-Mysticaro, by Seattle Slew) won over 1500m for Australian trainer Geoff Allendorf.
  • 4YO gelding The Gangster (Untouchable-Bold Corinne, by Distinctly North) won over 1500m for trainer T. Pinfield. The Gangster was a $22,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
  • 4YO gelding Winlord (Dubai Destination-Fly To Rome, by Acecay) won over 1200m for trainer K.H.Leong. Winlord was a $20,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Winter Sale.
