Elusive Quality Adds UK Black-Type

Monday, 19th October 2009

Former Darley shuttler Elusive Quality (Gone West-Touch Of Greatness, by Hero's Honor) added a UK black-type success when US-bred 3YO filly Damaniyat Girl (Elusive Quality-Dabaweyaa, by Shareef Dancer) scored by a head against older rivals in the £40,000 (A$76,000) Listed Boadicea Fillies Stakes (6 furlongs) for fillies & mares at Newmarket. Damaniyat Girl (ridden by Frankie Dettori for trainer William Haggas) defeated Irish-bred 3YO filly Vitoria (Exceed And Excel-Karayb, by Last Tycoon) & another 3YO filly Enact (Kyllachy-Constitute, by Gone West). Damaniyat Girl took her record to 2 wins & 4 runners-up (including both April's Gr3 Nell Gwyn Stakes over 7 furlongs at Newmarket & June's Listed Eternal Stakes over 7 furlongs at Warwick) from 10 starts for £123,073 (A$224,000) earnings.
