Monday, 19th October 2009

Hallmark Stud sire Gold Mine (Mr Prospector-Ocean Cat, by Storm Cat) added a NZ black-type success when front-running 4YO gelding San Bernardino (Gold Mine-Miss Katella, by The Commander) returned from a 11-months break to score a 1.25-lengths victory in the NZ$50,000 weight-for-age Listed Lion Red Plate (1200m) at Arawa Park in Rotorua. San Bernardino (ridden by Opie Bosson for trained Graeme & Debbie Rogerson) defeated favoured 9YO gelding Bulginbaah (Starjo-Lady Tristimus, by Tristimus) & 3YO filly Lamington Vegas (Elusive City-Piece Of Cake, by Snippets).
