European champion 4-time Gr1-winning Darley shuttle stallion Shamardal (Giant's Causeway-Helsinki, by Machiavellian) added a group success when favoured colt Shamoline Warrior (Shamardal-Picholine, by Dehere) made it 2 successive stakes-wins with a 1.5-lengths victory in the $125,000 Gr3 Norman Robinson Stakes (2000m) for 3YOs at Caulfield. Shamoline Warrior (ridden by Michael Rodd for trainer Mark Kavanagh) defeated top-weighted fellow colt Onemorenomore (Red Ransom-Palia, by Last Tycoon) & another colt Gathering (Tale Of The Cat-Celebria, by Peintre Celebre). Shamoline Warrior (a $60,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale) now has 3 wins (also including last start's Listed UCI Stakes over 1800m at Flemington on October 3) & a runner-up from 6 starts for $195,125 earnings.
