Multiple stakes-winning 6YO mare Belong To Many (Belong To Me-Foil, by Snippets) has been retired after finishing unplaced in last Saturday's Listed Lightning Stakes (1100m) at Randwick & "is likely to be served by More Than Ready this season," reported The Daily Telegraph. Overall Belong To Many (originally a $20,000 yearling consigned by Widden Stud at the 2005 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale & then resold in April this year for $525,000 at the Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale in Sydney) recorded 8 wins (including May's Listed Silk Stocking Handicap over 1200m at the Gold Coast & March's Listed Wenona Girl Handicap over 1200m at Randwick, plus 2008's Gr2 Sapphire Stakes over 1200m at Randwick & Listed Le Tan Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield) & 13 placings (including May's Listed Glenlogan Park Stakes over 1350m at Doomben, April's Gr2 Sapphire Stakes over 1200m at Randwick, March's Gr3 Birthday Card Stakes over 1200m at Rosehill & both February's Gr3 Millie Fox Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill & Gr2 Breeders Classic over 1200m at Randwick, as well as 2008's Listed Starlight Stakes over 1100m at Rosehill) from 32 starts for $573,801 earnings.
