UK Court Hears Owner "Threatened To Kill Accomplice"

In dramatic evidence in the High Court in London overnight, lawyers revealed owner Clive Whiting "broke down in tears 3 times during a British Horseracing Authority inquiry into an 11-horse conspiracy he was involved in, before threatening to kill an accomplice David Wright," reported racingpost.com. "Glimpses of what occurred at the BHA inquiry were revealed by its legal team" on the last day of an appeal brought by warned-off jockey Dean McKeown against the BHA's 4-year ban.
