UK Shadwell Announces 2010 Stallion Fees

Shadwell announced 2010 UK stallion fees for Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Nunnery Stud in Norfolk & stud director Richard Lancaster noted: "After the sales we looked very closely at our nomination prices & feel that we pitched them at a level that reflects the state of the present market. We are obviously delighted to be standing Aqlaam (winner of this year's French Gr1 Prix Du Moulin) who is the 1st son of Oasis Dream to go to stud & from the enquiries we have already had, we are confident he is going to be very popular." The Shadwell fees are:

  • £15,000 (A$27,000) Nayef (Gulch-Height Of Fashion, by Bustino) no change
  • £7,000 (A$12,600) Aqlaam (Oasis Dream-Bourbonella, by Rainbow Quest)) 1st season
  • £6,000 (A$10,800) Haafhd (Alhaarth-Al Bahathri, by Blushing Groom) down 50% from £12,000 (A$21,600)
  • £6,000 (A$10,800) Sakhee (Bahri-Thawakib, by Sadler's Wells) down 50% from £12,000 (A$21,600)
