US Sire Red Giant Moves To Three Chimneys

In the US, Gr1-winning 5YO stallion Red Giant (Giant's Causeway-Beyond The Sun, by Kingmambo) who set a world record 1min 57.13sec for 10 furlongs on turf in 2008's Gr1 Clement Hirsch Turf Championship at Santa Anita, has been relocated from Hill 'n' Dale Farms (where he previously stood for US$7,500) to Three Chimneys Farm in Kentucky for the 2010 breeding season. On the track, Red Giant (a US$350,000 yearling at the 2005 Keeneland September Sale) recorded 6 wins (also setting a Colonial Downs course record for 10 furlongs in the 2008 G2 Virginia Derby, as well as winning the Gr2 Fourstardave Handicap at Saratoga & Listed Restoration Stakes at Monmouth Park) & 4 placings (including runner-up in both the Gr1 Secretariat Stakes & Gr2 Jamaica Handicap) from 12 starts for US$1,092,410 earnings.
