1st Win For Sister To Vision And Power & Glamour Puss

The regally-bred sister to dual Gr1-winners Vision And Power & Glamour Puss recorded her 1st win when 3YO filly Pretty (Pins-Escada, by Centaine) scored over 1200m at Ballarat in Victoria yesterday in her 3rd start for trainer Danny O’Brien. Pretty (retained to race by NZ Waikato Stud principal Gary Chittick) is the 9th foal from Escada, whose 8 to race for 7 winners include: Vision and Power (victor in this year’s Gr1 Doncaster Handicap, Gr1 George Ryder Stakes & Listed Parramatta Cup) who is running in tomorrow’s Gr1 Cox Plate at Moonee Valley; Glamour Puss (victor in the Gr1 Salinger Stakes, Gr1 Goodwood Handicap, Gr2 Linlithgow Stakes & Gr3 Sapphire Stakes); Gr2-winner Rare Insight (victor in the G2 Stan Fox Stakes, whose Fastnet Rock colt sold for $800,000 at last year's Inglis Easter Yearling Sale); & stakes-winner Escadaire (victor in the Listed Belmont Newmarket).
