4 Aust-Bred Winners In Macau

In Macau, 4 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 3YO gelding Dr Sweet (king Cugat-Retro Chic, by Canny Lad) won over 1000m for expatriate Australian trainer Gary Moore. Dr Sweet was passed-in as a yearling for $9,000 at the 2008 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently sold as a 2YO for $40,000 at the 2008 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Happy Gladiator (Viscount-Church On Sunday, by Bubble Gum Fellow) won over 1000m for Australian trainer Gary Moore. Happy Gladiator was a $57,500 yearling at the 2008 Inglis/Pitt & Son Scone Sale.
  • 7YO gelding Mega Form (Sequalo-Zvornik Lass, by Zvornik) won over 1200m for trainers Y.T.Lam & H.Y.Cheng. Mega Form was a $45,000 yearling at the 2004 Brisbane Bloodstock Bonus Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Spitfire Kid (Carnegie-Masseera, by Alzao) won over 1500m for trainer W.T.Lai. Spitfire Kid was a $16,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale & subsequently a NZ$30,000 2YO at the 2005 NZ Bloodstock Horses-In-Training Sale.
