Thunder Gulch Adds Argentina Gr2

In South America, former Coolmore shuttler & Gr1 Kentucky Derby-winner Thunder Gulch (Gulch-Line Of Thunder, by Storm Bird) added a group success when 4YO mare Dando Amor (Thunder Gulch-Declaring Love, by Gone West) scored a 1.5-lengths victory in Argentina's Gr2 Clasico Los Haras (2000m on turf) for fillies & mares at San Isidro in Buenos Aires. Dando Amor (ridden by Edwin Talaverano for trainer Alfredo Gaitan Dassie) defeated 3YO filly (Pure Prize-Open Secrets, by West By West) & 5YO mare Visigotica (Interprete-Visigoda, by Roy). Previously this year, Dando Amor won each of September's Gr2 Clasico Sibila (1600m) at San Isidro, July's Gr3 Clasico Eudoro Balsa (1600m) at San Isidro, April's Gr2 Clasico Abril (1800m) at San Isidro & March's Gr2 Clasico Ricardo Ezequiel Fernandez Guerrico (1600m) at San Isidro. And during 2008 she placed in each of Argentina's Gr1 Polla De Potrancas (1600m) at Palermo, Gr1 Gran Premio Mil Guineas-Consagracion De Potrancas (1600m) at San Isidro, Gr1 Grand Premio Estrellas Junior Sprint (1000m) at Palermo, Gr2 Clasico Francisco Beazley (1800m) at Palermo & Gr3 Clasico Hipodromo Argentino (1000m) at Palermo. Overall she now has 6 wins & 6 placings from 14 starts.
