You Go West Girl (ridden by Jose Lezcano for trainer Thomas Proctor) defeated fellow 5YO mare Love Cove (Not For Love-Sand Pirate, by Desert Wine) & 6YO mare Nehantic Kat (Tomorrows Cat-Knightly Thunder, by Thunder Puddles). You Go West Girl (a US$62,000 yearling at the 2005 Keeneland September Sale & later a US$145,000 2YO at the 2006 Ocala Breeders April Sale) now has 8 wins (also including last start's Listed John Hettinger Stakes over 9 furlongs at Belmont Park on September 20, plus 2008's Listed Hey Babaloulou Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Belmont Park) & 8 placings (including June's Listed Possibly Perfect Stakes over 9 furlongs at Arlington Park & May's Listed Mount Vernon Handicap over 8 furlongs at Belmont Park, plus both 2008's Listed Yaddo Handicap over 9 furlongs at Saratoga & Listed Ticonderoga Handicap over 9 furlongs at Belmont Park, as well as both 2007's Gr3 Regret Stakes over 9 furlongs at Churchill Downs & Listed Hatoof Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Arlington Park) from 21 starts for US$482,137 earnings.
