Monday, 2nd November 2009

In the UK, Coolmore shuttler Danehill Dancer (Danehill-Mira Adonde, by Sharpen Up) added a black-type success when unbeaten 3YO colt Prince Of Dance (Danehill Dancer-Princess Ellen, by Tirol) gained the decision over his older rivals in a 3-way photo-finish to the £40,000 (A$72,000) Listed Ben Marshall Stakes (8 furlongs) at Newmarket. Prince Of Dance (ridden by Richard Kingscote for trainer Tom Dascombe) scored by a head from Godolphin's fellow 3YO colt Shaweel (Dansili-Cooden Beach, by Peintre Celebre) with a further neck to 5YO gelding Bushman (Maria's Mon-Housa Dancer, by Fabulous Dancer). Prince Of Dance took his record to 3 wins from 3 starts for £40,076 (A$72,100) earnings.
