Kasabian Wins Asian Beau Stakes

Coolmore shuttler & former star Australian sprinter Choisir (Danehill Dancer-Great Selection, by Lunchtime) added a group success when 4YO gelding Kasabian (Choisir-Safety Valve, by Air De France) made it 5 successive victories when he scored by a head in the $125,000 Gr3 Asian Beau Stakes (1400m) at Ascot in Perth. Kasabian (ridden by Shaun O'Donnell for trainer Darren McAuliffe) defeated 5YO gelding Elliotto (Easy Rocking-Tanamur, by Danehill) & top-weighted fellow 4YO gelding Grand Nirvana (Scenic-Paradise Park, by Bletchley Park). Kasabian (a $30,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Winter Thoroughbred Sale) now has 7 wins & 4 placings from 12 starts for $317,675 earnings.
