Belle Watling Wins Chile Gr1 Ensayo-Cristal

In Chile, boom filly Belle Watling (Dushyantor-Biala, by The Great Shark) notched her 3rd Gr1 triumph in the last 2 months with a 3.5-lengths victory over her male rivals in the Gr1 Clasico El Ensayo-Cristal (2400m on turf) for 3YOs at Club Hipico de Santiago. Belle Watling (ridden by Hector Berrios for trainer Patricio Baeza) defeated fellow filly Casablanca Smile (Ocean Terrace-Periza, by Sadlers Congress) & the colt Hoy Si (Dushyantor-Huamaya, by Fappavalley). Previously this year, Belle Watling won both October's Gr1 Premio Nacional Ricardo Lyon-Cruz Del Sur (2000m) at Club Hipico & September's Gr1 Premio Polla De Potrancas (1700m) at Club Hipico, as well as May's Gr3 Premio Julio Subercaseaux Browne (1600m) at Santiago & March's Listed Premio Carlos Cousino Goyenechea (1200m) at Club Hipico, in addition to placing in both June's Gr1 Premio Arturo Lyon Pena (1600m) at Club Hipico & August's Gr2 Premio Criadores Dorama (1600m) at Club Hipico. Overall she now has 6 wins & 2 placings from 9 starts.
