Soldier Hollow Fee Cut 23% At Rottgen In Germany

In Germany, Gestut Rottgen announced the covering fee for 4-time Gr1-winner 9YO stallion Soldier Hollow (In the Wings-Island Race, by Common Grounds) has been cut 23.1% from €6,500 (A$10,400) in 2009 to €5,000 (A$8,000) for his 3rd-season at stud in 2010, reported racingpost.com. Soldier Hollow won both Germany's Gr1 Grosser Dallmayr-Preis twice & Italy's Gr1 Premio Roma twice. Rottgen has also cut the fee for 12-year-old Kallisto (Sternkonig-Kalinikta, by Konigsstuhl) by 37.5% from €4,000 (A$6,400) to €2,500 (A$4,000). Kallisto is the sire of 2006 Gr1 Deutsches Derby runner-up Dickens.
