Oasis Dream 2010 Fee Up 116% To $117k

Friday, 6th November 2009

Also in the UK, Juddmonte Farms announced the 2010 service fee for boom stallion Oasis Dream (Green Desert-Hope, by Dancing Brave) has been raised 116% from £30,000 (A$54,000) to £65,000 (A$117,000) at Banstead Manor Stud in Newmarket. Oasis Dream “enjoyed a phenomenal run of form this year with his representatives including Gr1 Prix du Moulin hero Aqlaam, Gr1 Nassau Stakes winner Midday & Gr1 Prix Morny scorer Arcano” noted racingpost.com. Juddmonte general manager Philip Mitchell commented: “In line with the current economic climate, we recognise this is not an easy time for breeders. We have therefore either held or reduced all our fees with the exception of Oasis Dream. With over 100 individual winners & 19 stakes-winners including 3 Gr1-winners this year, Oasis Dream has been described as 'the undoubted sire sensation of 2009'. We now believe he deserves his position as a pre-eminent stallion in Europe alongside champion sire Dansili.”
