Gr3-Winner Absolutelyfabulous Retired To Stud

Trainer Kris Lees announced Gr3-winning 6YO mare Absolutelyfabulous (Langfuhr-Joker's Girl, by Rory's Jester) has been retired to stud after “feeling the effects of a hard track” following her 3rd-placing in the Gr2 Salinger Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on October 31. Absolutelyfabulous (a $45,000 yearling at the 2005 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney) retires with 5 wins (including September’s Gr3 Patinack Farm Cameron Handicap over 1300m at Newcastle, plus 2007's Listed Eskimo Prince Stakes over 1100m at Randwick & both 2006's Listed Reginald Allen Quality over 1400m at Randwick & Inglis Classic over 1200m at Rosehill) & 13 placings (also including March's Listed Wiggle Quality Handicap over 1400m at Randwick & February's Listed Triscay Stakes over 1200m at Rosehill, plus 2008's Gr1 Myer Classic over 1600m at Flemington, Gr2 Tristarc Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield, Gr3 Millie Fox Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill & Listed TBV Summoned Stakes over 1500m at Betfair Park, as well as 2007's Gr3 Birthday Card Stakes over 1200m at Rosehill & 2006's Listed Seppelt Wines Stakes over 1400m at Flemington) from 37 starts for $830,325 earnings.
