Inglis Melb: $280k Redoute's Choice Filly

Monday, 16th November 2009

In the auction ring, Gerry Ryan's Limerick Lane paid top price of $280,000 for a filly by flagship Arrowfield Stud stallion & former Australian champion sire Redoute’s Choice (out of Sunday Silence mare Bella Sunday) at yesterday’s 1-day Inglis Australian Racehorse Sale at Oaklands in Melbourne. The filly (from the family of Easy Date) is a 3/4-sister to former top 2YO & young Arrowfield Stud sire Not A Single Doubt & a 3/4 blood relation to last season's dual stakes-winning 2YO Come Hither. It is also the family of Golden Slipper & triple Gr1-winner Forensics, multiple Gr1-winning sire Snippets & fellow Gr1-winner Rewaaya. The filly was previously sold for $290,000 at this year's Inglis Easter Yearling Sale in Sydney, but has subsequently been repossessed by Inglis.
