Gr1-Winner Naaqoos Retired To Mezeray In France

Also in France, Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum’s Gr1-winning 3YO colt Naaqoos (Oasis Dream-Straight Lass, by Machiavellian) has been retired & will stand at Haras du Mezeray next season at a €6,000 (A$9,600) service fee, reported racingpost.com. Naaqoos was a €280,000 (A$448,000) yearling at 2007’s Deauville August Sale & as a 2YO won France’s 2008 Gr1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere/Grand Criterium (1400m) at Longchamp; this season he also finished runner-up in April’s Listed Prix Djebel (1400m) at Maisons-Laffitte.
