Former star Australian sprinter & Gr1-winning Coolmore shuttler Choisir (Danehill Dancer-Great Selection, by Lunchtime) added a black-type success when top-weighted colt Kid Choisir (Choisir-Friendly Seas, by Mister C) made it 4 wins & a runner-up from his last 5 starts with a 1.5-lengths victory in the $75,000 Listed Placid Ark Stakes (1200m) for 3YOs at Ascot. Kid Choisir (ridden by Damien Oliver for trainer Frank Maynard) defeated favoured gelding Stars Aligned (Not A Single Doubt-My Pink, by Slew O Gold) & fellow gelding Keshaar (Xaar-Keshet, by Long Row).
