Tasmania’s Carrick-based Armidale Stud stallion Savoire Vivre (Sadler’s Wells-Oh So Sharp, by Kris) added a black-type success (& 3rd-placing) when 5YO gelding Life To The Full (Savoire Vivre-Sinizzor, by Dieu D'Or) scored by a head in yesterday’s $80,000 Listed Tasmanian Newmarket Handicap (1200m) at Launceston. Life To The Full (ridden by Justin Hamer for trainers David & Scott Brunton) defeated 7YO gelding Miewa’s Quest (West Quest-Miewa Princess, by Magic King) & 6YO mare With Decorum (Savoire Vivre-Royal Egypt, by Poacher's Moon). Life To The Full took his record to 9 wins (also including 2008’s Listed Balaklava Cup over 1600m & Listed Hobart Guineas over 1600m at Tattersall's Park) & 7 placings (including April’s Listed C.S.Hayes Memorial Cup over 1600m at Morphettville) from 29 starts for $287,167 earnings.
