Ma Chienne Wins Tattersall's Cup

Former West Australian Alwyn Park Stud shuttler Verglas (Highest Honor-Rahaam, by Secreto) added a black-type success when 5YO mare Ma Chienne (Verglas-Just Act, by Serheed) scored by a long-head in the $75,000 Listed Tattersall’s Cup (2200m) at Ascot. Ma Chienne (ridden by Alan Kennedy for trainer Adam Durrant) defeated fellow 5YO mare Biara Rose (Dr Johnson-Rosette, by Don't Say Halo) & 7YO gelding Marine Drive (Scenic-Princess Of Pop, by Marooned). Ma Chienne (a $25,000 yearling consigned by Alwyn Park at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Sale) now has 9 wins & 9 placings (including 2008’s Listed Belmont Oaks over 2000m at Belmont Park) from 21 starts for $259,825 earnings.
