Aust Racing Museum Moves To MCG

Champions: The Australian Racing Museum officially closes its doors at Melbourne’s Federation Square this Friday (November 27) in preparation for the museum’s move to the National Sports Museum at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The ARM opened at Caulfield Racecourse in 1981, before moving to its Federation Square location in 2004. Racing Victoria announced: “Design work has commenced on what will be called the Champions’ Gallery at the NSM & it is anticipated the official opening will take place ahead of the 2010 Spring Racing Carnival.”
