In Europe, regally-bred US Gr1-winning 5YO stallion Mr Sidney (Storm Cat-Tomisue's Delight, by A.P.Indy) “will enter stud at Alec Head's Haras du Quesnay in Normandy in France at a fee of €9,000 (A$14,400)” reported racingpost.com. This season Mr Sidney (a US$3.9 million yearling at the 2005 Keeneland September Sale) won both April’s Gr1 Maker's Mark Mile Stakes (8 furlongs) at Keeneland & July’s Gr2 Firecracker Breeders’ Cup Handicap (8 furlongs) at Churchill Downs, as well as placing in October’s Gr1 Shadwell Turf Mile Stakes (8 furlongs) at Keeneland. Overall Mr Sidney won or placed in 8 of 13 races & earned US$486,875. His dual Gr1-winning dam Tomisue's Delight is a half-sister to both US Horse-Of-The-Year & sire Mineshaft, plus Queensland-based Racetree Farm's Gr3-winning former Coolmore-Willowbend Stud shuttler Monashee Mountain.
