5 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong last night, 5 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Happy Valley (click on the horse name to watch a video replay of each race):

  • 3YO gelding Tai Sing Yeh (Not A Single Doubt-Precious Lass, by Ashkalani) won over 1200m for trainer Manfred Man. Tai Sing Yeh was a $17,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Summer Sale & subsequently a $125,000 2YO at the 2008 Magic Millions National Horses-in-Training Sale.
  • 7YO gelding Ganbaria (Hennessy-Doldrums, by Danzero) won over 1200m for trainer Me Tsui. Ganbaria was a $20,000 yearling consigned by Boomerang Berrima at the 2004 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Sky Walker (Dash For Cash-Court Dancer, by Rokosz) won over 1650m for trainer Sean Woods. Sky Walker was a $46,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Finn MacCool (Carnegie-Raquel, by Famous Star) won over 1200m for trainer David Ferraris. Finn MacCool was a $26,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 8YO Great Achievement (Danehill-Tamarind Tree, by Last Tycoon) won over 1650m for trainer Manfred Man. Great Achievement was a $200,000 yearling at the 2003 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
