UK Tatts Foals Day-2: $247k Galileo Colt

Friday, 27th November 2009

Blandford Bloodstock’s Tom Goff paid 130,000 guineas (A$247,000) for a colt by former Coolmore shuttler & Gr1 English Derby winner Galileo (out of Royal Academy mare Belle Allemande) consigned from Mill House Stud as agent. Goff told racingpost.com: “He's been bought for a client who will make a decision next year whether he goes into training in 2011 or is reoffered as a yearling. He was a racy, athletic colt & had lots of quality; he was just a lovely loose-moving Galileo.”
