UK Tatts Breeding Stock Day-3: $494k Apple Charlotte

Thursday, 3rd December 2009

BBA Ireland's John Tyrell (standing alongside Paul Shanahan) paid 260,000 guineas (A$494,000) for Listed-winning 3YO filly Apple Charlotte (Royal Applause-Maid Of Camelot, by Caerleon) consigned from trainer Henry Cecil’s Warren Place Stables. Apple Charlotte carries a Timeform rating of 108 & Tyrell told racingpost.com: “She's a beauty & I think, with her form, she's something to go forward with. I'm not sure what the plan is with her; there's a possibility she could go to Australia & I don't know whether she will keep racing for a bit or be bred from.”
