In Macau, 6 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 3YO gelding Oriental Prestige (Danewin-Satin Bella, by Sir Tristram) won over 1300m for trainer Pat Lee. Oriental Prestige was a $15,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Mr Beautiful (Elusive Quality-Bonbird, by Bluebird) won over 1050m for trainer M.C.Tam. Mr Beautiful was a $210,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 3YO gelding Hopefully Right (Pure Theatre-Danequillo, by Danehill) won over 1000m for trainer M.C.Tam. Hopefully Right was a $20,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Bowl Brothers (Hussonet-They Say, by Thirty Six Red) won over 1400m for Australian trainer Geoff Allendorf. Bowl Brothers was passed-in as a yearling for $55,000 at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 7YO gelding Jade Water (High Yield-Bitters, by Cure The Blues) won over 1500m for trainer Victor Chong. Jade Water was a $24,000 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Dragon World (Peintre Celebre-Sandy Prospect, by Geiger Counter) won over 1800m for trainer J.Lau. Dragon World was a $27,500 at the 2006 Inglis/Pitt & Son Scone Sale.
