Tiger Hill Adds French Black-Type

In France overnight, triple Gr1-winning Darley shuttler Tiger Hill (Danehill-The Filly, by Appiani) added a black-type success when 8YO gelding Young Tiger (Tiger Hill-Youngolina, by Trempolino) scored by a neck in the €60,000 (A$96,000) Listed Prix Max Sicard (2400m) at Toulouse. Young Tiger (ridden by Jean-Bernard Eyquem for trainer Francois Rohaut) defeated 4YO entire Blek (Chichicastenango-Exande, by Exit To Nowhere) & 4YO mare Tangaspeed (Vertical Speed-Fitanga, by Fijar Tango). Earlier this season, Young Tiger also won both October’s Listed Grand Prix De La Ville De Nantes (2400m) at Nantes & June’s Listed Grand Prix De Lyon (2400m) at Lyon-Parilly & placed in both May's Listed Grand Prix De Bordeaux (1900m) & April's Listed Le Vase D'Argent (2000m) at Toulouse. In previous seasons Young Tiger has also won 2008's Listed Le Vase D'Argent (2000m) at Toulouse & 2007's Listed Prix Du Grand Camp over (2400m) at Lyon-Parilly, as well as placing in 2004's Gr3 Prix La Force (2000m) at Saint-Cloud).
