Darley To Stand Aust Sire Commands In Japan

Gr3-winning & multiple Gr1-placed former Woodlands Stud & now Darley stallion Commands (Danehill-Cotehele House, by My Swanee) will stand the 2010 northern hemisphere breeding season at Sheikh Mohammed’s Darley Japan base in Hokkaido. John Ferguson (Sheikh Mohammed’s bloodstock advisor) announced: “The stallion operation in Japan is going from strength to strength. It gives Sheikh Mohammed great satisfaction to be involved in the (Japanese) racing & breeding industry & standing both Commands & Pyro (see details below) as new international sires for 2010 is proof of Darley’s commitment to the Japanese industry.” Commands will stand for ¥5 million (A$64,000).
