Arqana Sales 2: President Points To Foreign Marketing Success
Following the announcement of Arqana’s strong 2009 results, Arqana president Eric Hoyeau commented: “Arqana’s very good year shows that the globalisation strategy applied to both offer and demand has paid.” Noting, “New vendors and buyers have placed their faith in the French market,” Hoyeau declared: “This is the reward for the relentless marketing efforts put up by Arqana’s foreign representatives as well as by the FRBC team. The strength and rising appeal of the French racing and breeding system is also a major asset for our sales.” France’s strong prizemoney growth and an average 56% return of training expenses (one of the best rates in the world) were also cited as reasons behind “rising numbers of foreign breeders and owners”.
