UK Doncaster Moves Oct Sale To Nov

Thursday, 1st April 2010

In the UK, Doncaster Bloodstock announced its traditional October Sale will move to early November this year (November 2-4) & be re-named the DBS November Sale (featuring 1 day of yearlings followed by 2 days of horses-in-training). DBS managing director Henry Beeby commented: "The DBS October Sale has occupied the same week for an extremely long time, but the clash of dates meant this was never ideal. The contraction of the sales calendar has presented the opportunity to move away from our traditional fixture & we are confident that offering the same category of horse during a blank week of sales will have a positive effect on the DBS November Sale 2010."
