Ishiguru Adds Irish Black-Type

Also in Ireland overnight, NZ Chequers Stud shuttler Ishiguru (Danzig-Strategic Manuever, by Cryptoclearance) added a black-type success when UK-bred 6YO mare She's Our Mark (Ishiguru-Markskeepingfaith, by Ajraas) scored a 1-length victory in the €42,500 (A$64,000) Listed Alleged Stakes (10 furlongs) for 4YOs & up at The Curragh. She's Our Mark (ridden by Danny Grant for trainer Patrick Flynn) defeated UK-bred 4YO entires Popmurphy (Montjeu-Lady Lahar, by Fraam) & Fame And Glory (Montjeu-Gryada, by Shirley Heights). Last year She's Our Mark also won Ireland's Gr3 Meld Stakes (10 furlongs) at Leopardstown, Listed Kilboy Estates Stakes (9 furlongs) at The Curragh & Listed Victor McCalmont Memorial Stakes (9.5 furlongs) at Gowran Park, as well as placing in each of the Gr2 Blandford Stakes (10 furlongs) at The Curragh, Listed Garnet Stakes (8 furlongs) at Naas, Listed Hurry Harriet Stakes (9.5 furlongs) at Leopardstown & Listed Silver Stakes (10 furlongs) at The Curragh. And in 2008 she placed in each of the Gr3 Denny Cordell Fillies Stakes (9 furlongs) at Gowran Park, Gr3 Athasi Stakes (7 furlongs) at The Curragh & Listed Hurry Harriet Stakes (9.5 furlongs) at Leopardstown. In 2007 She's Our Mark won the Gr3 Desmong Stakes (8 furlongs) at leopardstown & placed in each of the Gr3 Brownstown Stakes (7 furlongs) at Leopardstown, Listed Platinum Stakes (8 furlongs) at Cork & Listed Kilboy Estates Stakes (9 furlongs) at The Curragh.
