Paxton Park sire Shinko King (Fairy King-Rose Of Jericho, by Alleged) added a NZ black-type success when 5YO mare Shi Kin Fly (Shinko King-Blondini, by Big Spender) scored a 0.75-length victory in the NZ$45,000 weight-for-age Listed Manawatu Breeders Stakes (2000m) for fillies & mares at Awapuni. Shi Kin Fly (ridden by Mark du Plessis for trainer John Sergent) defeated fellow 5YO mares Caparison (Cape Cross-Stever House, by El Gran Senor) & Spirits Bay (Stravinsky-Amidala, by Zeditave). Shi Kin Fly now has 6 wins & 9 placings (including March's Listed NZ St Leger over 2500m at Trentham) from 24 starts for NZ$146,815 earnings.
