Sydney Easter Date Change "A Crowd Killer"

Tuesday, 13th April 2010

Prominent turf columnist Ken Callander declared bluntly in The Daily Telegraph: "With the advent of TVN & the expansion of SKY, racing's audience is now ensconced in the pubs, clubs & loungerooms of Australia, but 20,000 at Randwick on AJC Derby day is still rubbish. Events NSW & Racing NSW, which pushed for a change of date for Sydney's autumn carnival, have a lot to answer for."
