Wednesday, 14th April 2010

Glenlogan Park commented on its 2010 stallion fees:

  • Show A Heart: Queensland's Champion stallion. Australia's Champion 1st-Season Sire 2005-06. Australia's Champion 2nd-Season Sire 2006-07. Australasia's Champion 3rd-Season Sire 2007-08. New Zealand's Champion 2YO Sire 2006-07. Show A Heart is still setting benchmarks no other Queensland stallion has ever previously achieved. In a short period of time at stud, Show A Heart has already left Gr1, Gr2, Gr3 & stakes-winners, as well as a 2YO Magic Millions winner & 3YO Magic Millions winner (including Heart Of Dreams, Mimi Lebrock, Toorak Toff, Rightfully Yours, Gotta Have Heart, Dual Chamber & Crossyourheart). Show A Heart has the best winners-to-runners ratio of any of the top sires in the country. Show A Heart is a stallion who upgrades his mares, with the best-bred of his progeny yet to face the starter.
  • Jet Spur: When his debut crop yearlings reached the sales rings, Jet Spur achieved the honour of being the best return-on-investment stallion from all the major sales in Australia for the 2008-09 season. His 2nd-crop yearlings achieved the same result at the Magic Millions Premier Sale earlier this year. And this season, Jet Spur leads all other stallions in Australia for number of 2YO winners.
  • Real Saga: Retired last season to stand his 1st-year in the breeding barn as equal highest-rated 2YO colt of the last decade (he started favourite in both the Gr1 Golden Slipper & Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes, after winning the Gr2 Todman Slipper Trial Stakes, Gr3 Blue Diamond Prelude & Listed Breeders Plate).
  • Falvelon: Champion Racehorse on the track, who began as an undefeated stakes-winning 2YO & became the highest-ever-earning sprinter to be trained out of the country. In the breeding barn (his oldest progeny are 5YOs), Falvelon has produced the highest number of juvenile winners in Queensland from each of his 3 completed seasons. His black-type performers include She's Meaner, Kryptelon, Mr Profumo, Keiki, Falvelon's Dream, Walking Or Dancing, Falontime, Beltija, Power Of George & Fangles.
  • Bradbury's Luck: The Magic Millions race has proven to be one of the most accurate indicators to future stallion success on the Australian racing calendar & Bradbury's Luck looks set to follow in the footsteps of previous winners General Nediym, Brave Warrior, Testa Rossa & Snippets. He is by Australia's most successful stallion in recent years Redoute's Choice, out of one of the best sprinter-miler mares to race in Australia in the last 20 years Skating. His 1st-crop crop yearlings presented in 2009 sold to $210,000.
  • Red Element: Stakes-winning brother to Champion mare Typhoon Tracy, Red Element hails from a family that rates with the best in this country being a multiple-stakes-winning son of Red Ransom & out of current Broodmare-Of-The-Year Tracy's Element.
