Gr1-winning & triple Gr1-placed 3YO colt Wanted (Fastnet Rock-Fragmentation, by Snippets) has been retired to stand at Eliza Park in Victoria at an introductory fee of $38,500. Wanted will be limited to a book of 80 mares in his 1st season & Eliza Park chief executive Cameron Croucher declared: "This is a tremendous coup for both Eliza Park & the Victorian breeding industry." Wanted (an $800,000 yearling consigned by Highgrove Stud at the 2008 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney) recorded 3 wins (including March's Gr1 Newmarket Handicap over 1200m at Flemington & 2009's Gr3 Kindergarten Stakes over 1100m at Randwick) & 6 placings (including runner-up in both February's Gr1 William Reid Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley & January's Gr1 Coolmore Lightning Stakes over 1000m at Flemington, plus 2009's Gr1 Patinack Farm Classic over 1200m at Flemington, Gr2 Schillaci Stakes over 1000m at Caulfield, Gr2 Danehill Stakes over 1200m at Flemington & Listed Canonbury Stakes over 1100m at Randwick) from 15 starts for $1,216,000 earnings.
