Aust-Bred Luen Yat Forever Wins Gr1 Macau Derby

In Macau, former Widden Stud & now Hollylodge Thoroughbreds stallion Honours List (Danehill-Gold Script, by Script Ohio) added a Gr1 success when Australian-bred gelding Luen Yat Forever (Honours List-Loisset, by Langfuhr) notched his 2nd Gr1 victory in a month with a 2-lengths win in the Gr1 Macau Derby (1800m) for 4YOs at Taipa. Leun Yat Forever (ridden by Manuel Nunes for trainer Steven Choi) defeated fellow Australian-bred gelding My Dark Chocolate (Street Cry-Greendale Lass, by Alzao) & another gelding Danpaoshaq (Danasinga-Clever Clogs, by Woodman). Leun Yat Forever (a $32,000 weanling consigned by Glenlogan Park at the 2006 Magic Millions National Sale) now has 9 wins (also including March's Gr1 Macau Guineas over 1500m, January's Gr3 Winter Trophy over 1800m & 2009's Gr3 Lisboa Challenge) & 8 placings (including 2009's Gr3 Lisboa Prelude over 1200m) from 19 starts.
