Cummings Stays In Hospital After Asthma & Flu Attack
Legendary trainer Bart Cummings "could spend up to a week in Sydney's St Vincent's Private Hospital in a bid to get rid of the virus he has had for over a week," reported The Daily Telegraph. Cummings (who was admitted to hospital on Monday) "will not leave until the influenza & asthma he is suffering from has completely left his system". His son Anthony Cummings said his 82-year-old father (who trains favourite Precedence in this Saturday's Gr1 Sydney Cup) is "in good spirits. He's fine & recovering well."
