In Macau, 8 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 6YO gelding Best Fountain (Brahms-Classic Weekend, by Regal Classic) won over 1300m for Australian trainer Geoff Allendorf. Best Fountain was a $37,500 yearling consigned by Eliza Park Stud at the 2005 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
  • 4YO entire Monster (Quest For Fame-Gypsy Mai, by Our Maizcay) won over 1300m for trainer H.Cheng.
  • 4YO gelding Goldson (Exceed And Excel-Discriminate, by Marauding) won over 1500m for Australian trainer Peter Leyshan. Goldson was a $100,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 3YO gelding Golden Gunner (Black Minnaloushe-Clever Clogs, by Woodman) won over 1500m for trainers P.Kan & P.Tse. Golden Gunner was passed-in as a yearling for $32,000 at the 2008 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 3YO colt Ransom Power (Red Ransom-Miss Denmark, by Danehill) won over 1500m for expatriate Australian trainer Gary Moore. Ransom Power was a $40,000 yearling consigned by Racetree at the 2008 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 4YO gelding Speedy Gonzalez (French Deputy-Missing Logic, by Danzig) won over 1800m for trainer K.S.Cheong. Speedy Gonzalez was a $10,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis/Pitt & Son Scone Sale.
  • 10YO gelding Teamhappy Sum (Danewin-Mehtaab, by Sackford) won over 1500m for trainer K.Leong. Teamhappy Sum was a $65,000 yearling at the 2001 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast & subsequently an $80,000 2YO at the 2001 Inglis Breeze-Up Sale.
  • 8YO gelding Kai Sing Treasure (Danzero-Alifax, Alydar) won over 1200m for expatriate Australian trainer Gary Moore. Kai Sing Treasure was a $6,000 2YO at the 2004 Inglis June (now Great Southern) Sale.
