Devoirs Wins Princess Stakes

Former Arrowfield Stud & Coolmore shuttler Dehere (Deputy Minister-Sister Dot, by Secretariat) added a black-type success when daughter Devoirs (Dehere-Velasco, by Flying Spur) scored a 0.75-length victory in the $100,000 Listed Princess Stakes (1600m) for 3YO fillies at Eagle Farm. Devoirs (ridden by Michael Cahill for trainer Grahame Begg) defeated Acouplamas (Al Maher-Mahira, by Canny Lad) & Free To Roam (Galileo-Serengeti Park, by Woodman). Devoirs now has a win & 3 placings (including 2009’s Listed Arrow Training Services Stakes over 1600m at Moonee Valley) from 11 starts for $104,020 earnings.
