Florida 2YOs Day-4: US$500k Limehouse Filly

In the US auction ring, agent Mark Casse paid top price of US$500,000 for a filly by multiple Gr2-winning Vinery stallion Limehouse (whose 1st-crop are now 3YOs) & already named Delightful Mary (out of French Deputy mare Deputy’s Delight) during the closing session at the 4-day Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company Spring Sale of 2YOs-In-Training in Florida. The filly (a half-sister to millionaire graded stakes-winner Delightful Kiss) was consigned by Craig Wheeler as agent for the Hobeau Farm dispersal & clocked an equal-fastest 20.4sec for 2 furlongs during the pre-sale breeze-up session.
