Thursday, 29th April 2010

In South America, Adam Driver of Global Equine Group (who last week signed for the top lot at the UK Doncaster Bloodstock Breeze-Up Sale) paid top price of US$110,000 for a colt by former Grand Lodge Thoroughbreds shuttler Distorted Humor (the 1st foal out of Brazilian-bred & Brazilian Gr1-winning Royal Academy mare Movie Star) at Argentina's ARG Sales select yearling auction at San Isidro racecourse in Buenos Aires. Driver told racingpost.com: "He's a typical Distorted Humor: very powerful, very muscular, a great mover with good conformation."
