On the Australian track yesterday, triple Gr1-winning former Woodlands Stud & now WA Oakland Park Stud-based sire Viscount (Quest For Fame-Antwerp, by Sir Tristram) added a Gr1 triumph when favoured gelding Kidnapped (Viscount-Youthful Presence, by Dehere) scored by a long-head in the $300,000 Gr1 South Australian Derby (2500m) for 3YOs at Morphettville in Adelaide. Kidnapped (ridden by Kerrin McEvoy for trainer Peter Snowden) defeated fellow gelding Red Colossus (Testa Rossa-Palace Glow, by Palace Music) & the colt Sea Galleon (Galileo-San Michele, by Stravinsky).
