Fame And Glory was a 190,000 guineas (A$323,000) foal at the UK Tattersalls 2006 December Sale; last year he won the Gr1 Irish Derby (12 furlongs) at The Curragh, Irish Gr2 Derby Trial Stakes (10 furlongs) at Leopardstown & Irish Gr3 Ballysax Stakes (10 furlongs) at Leopardstown, as well as finishing runner-up (to champion Sea The Stars) in both the Gr1 English Derby (12 furlongs) at Epsom Downs & Irish Gr1 Champion Stakes (10 furlongs) at Leopardstown.
