4 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong last night, 4 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Sha Tin (click on the horse name to watch a video replay of each race):

  • 3YO gelding Loads Of Joy (Face Value-More Than Fair, by Military Plume) won over 1200m for trainer Francis Lui. Loads Of Joy was a $26,000 weanling at the 2007 Inglis Great Southern Sale & subsequently a $75,000 yearling at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Select Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Upside Of Anger (O'Reilly-Fleet Marguerite, by Gulch) won over 1800m for trainer Sean Woods. Upside Of Anger was a NZ$50,000 yearling consigned by Lyndhurst Stud at the 2006 NZ Bloodstock Select Sale at Karaka.
  • 4YO gelding Chater DCat (Tale Of The Cat-Royal Season, by Royal Academy) won over 1650m for trainer David Ferraris. Chater D'Cat was a $30,000 yearling consigned by Namerik Thoroughbreds at the 2007 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Give Well (Dash For Cash-Orford Court, by Military Plume) won over 1650m for trainer Almond Lee. Give Well was a $32,500 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney & subsequently a $40,000 2YO at the 2006 NZ Bloodstock Ready-To-Run Sale.
