In Macau, 5 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 10YO gelding Lucky Knight (Danehill-Scarlet Jewel, by Is It True) won over 1500m for trainers A.Ngai & Y.C. Chan. Lucky Knight was passed-in for $250,000 at the 2001 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 5YO gelding Party Lines (Mull Of Kintyre-Sunny Rae, by Sanction) won over 1050m for trainer V.Chong.
  • 5YO gelding Superb Albert (Magic Albert-Matter Of Habit, by Kaaptive Edition) won over 1050m for trainers P.C.Chan & K.C.Tse.
  • 4YO gelding Palm Trilogy (Dubai Destination-Dubai Ice, by Danehill) won over 1300m for trainer Y.C.Fung. Palm Trilogy was passed-in as a yearling for $90,000 at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 3YO gelding Viva El Jefe (Exceed And Excel-Love Dance, by Kaapstad) won over 1050m for expatriate Australian trainer Gary Moore. Viva El Jefe was a $55,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently a $150,000 2YO at the 2008 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
