6 Aust-Bred Winners In Singapore

In Singapore, 6 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Kranji (click on the horse name to watch a video replay of each race):

  • 3YO gelding Double Dose (Secret Savings-Flowered Silk, by Cossack Warrior) won over 1600m for trainer Brian Dean. Double Dose was a $38,000 weanling consigned by Emirates Park at the 2007 Inglis Great Southern Sale & subsequently a $45,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Magical Wonderland (Magic Of Sydney-Rapa Rapa, by Dr Johnson) won over 1100m for trainer H.W.Tan. Magical Wonderland was a $4,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis July Winter Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Pacific General (General Nediym-Ellawin, by Danewin) won over 1200m for trainer Desmond Koh.
  • 4YO gelding Supreme General (French Deputy-Lavishly, by Sunday Silence) won over 1800m for trainer Leslie Khoo. Supreme General was a $400,000 yearling consigned by Arrowfield Stud at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 3YO gelding My Son (Hawk Wing-Pekan Flight, by Sir Pekan) won over 1000m for trainer Patrick Shaw. My Son was a $22,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently a $50,000 2YO at the 2008 Magic Millions Queenland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Chilli (Hussonet-Absolute Lure, by Lure) won over 1200m for Australian trainer Don Baertschiger. Chilli was a $170,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
